On Saturday 18th July, we had the privilege of being the chosen charity at the Warminster Philharmonic Orchestra’s Summer Concert, and what a fantastic evening it was.
The audience enjoyed a wonderful programme of music, and we were delighted to have the opportunity to share a little about the work of Evie’s Gift and how the support of our local community helps us provide emergency accommodation for families of critically ill babies and children.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of everyone who attended, an amazing £2,078 was raised through ticket sales, refreshments, programmes and our raffle.
Every pound raised will help provide a safe place to stay for families who find themselves many miles from home while their child receives urgent hospital treatment. At a time when families are facing some of the most difficult moments of their lives, this support makes a real and lasting difference.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Warminster Philharmonic Orchestra, its conductor, musicians, volunteers and everyone involved in organising such a memorable evening. We are also incredibly grateful to everyone who attended, purchased raffle tickets, enjoyed refreshments or made a donation. Your generosity and support are truly appreciated.
A special thank you also goes to the local businesses and individuals who kindly donated prizes for our raffle. Your support helped make the raffle a great success and contributed significantly to the fantastic amount raised.
Together, you have helped ensure that more families can stay close to their seriously ill child when they need each other most.
From all of us at Evie’s Gift – thank you.
