We are incredibly proud to share that Evie’s Gift has been shortlisted as a FINALIST in the Charity category at the Bath Life Awards 2026.
To be recognised at such a respected regional awards is a huge honour — particularly as a small charity working quietly but relentlessly behind the scenes to support families when they need it most.
The Bath Life Awards celebrate excellence, impact and community contribution across Bath and the surrounding area. Being shortlisted tells us that the work we do every day — keeping families close to their seriously ill children in hospital — is being seen, valued and trusted.
Standing alongside incredible charities
This year’s Charity category includes some truly inspiring organisations, each making a meaningful difference in their own way. To be shortlisted alongside charities of this calibre is humbling and deeply encouraging.
We know how competitive this category is, and we are proud simply to stand among peers who share the same commitment to compassion, integrity and impact. The work happening across our local charity sector is extraordinary, and this recognition reflects the strength of our wider community as much as it does Evie’s Gift itself.
Recognition for a small charity with a big mission
Evie’s Gift is a small charity, but our mission is clear and urgent: to ensure parents and carers can stay close to their critically ill children in hospital, without the added burden of worrying about accommodation, travel or food costs.
Every family we support is facing one of the most frightening times of their lives. This finalist recognition acknowledges not only the scale of need, but the care, speed and compassion with which we respond.
It also recognises the dedication of everyone who makes our work possible — our supporters, fundraisers, volunteers, donors, and trustees. Quite simply, this nomination belongs to all of you.
Thank you for believing in our work
We would like to thank the Bath Life Awards judges for recognising the impact of our work, and for shining a light on the importance of supporting families during childhood illness.
No matter the outcome, being shortlisted is a moment of pride and reflection for us. It reminds us why we do what we do — and strengthens our determination to continue growing our support so that even more families can stay together when it matters most.
