Evie’s Gift was founded as a result of the period I spent in hospital with my daughter Evie, following her diagnosis with a terminal illness in 2017. We have now been operating for nearly six years and have helped close to 1900 families, many of them more than once. It has been a great source of comfort to know my daughter’s legacy lives on in the work we do to help other parents with critically ill children in hospital.

Over the past year the economic downturn has significantly impacted our fundraising efforts and sadly, we have recently had to suspend much of our grant-making work in order to focus on rebuilding our reserves. Evie’s Gift receives no support from the government or the NHS and is wholly reliant on donations. We are a very small charity with minimal overheads, and we depend on people like you to help us raise the money we need to support families in financial hardship in hospitals around the UK.

This Christmas we are appealing to you to make a donation and help us reach our target of £25,000, which will enable us to resume our grant-making work in 2024. Please donate what you can and share this appeal across your networks, we’d be so grateful!
